Then the season started, we were optimistic. But after the first game we were all down again. Hunter didn't get in until the last 30 seconds. Ughh!!! It was so hard to watch him sit on the bench and get more and more discouraged because he wasn't getting in the game. It was heart wrenching, but a good lesson to learn. He learned that he can't take getting in the game for granted. When you are in you've got to give it your all. 110%. He asked the coach, after the first game, what he could work on to get more playing time. The coach said nothing, that Hunter was a dang good player. So we were confused at why he wasn't getting more playing time. But after a few games, Hunter got a lot of playing time, which made us all happy. North Ogden Knights when to the championship game, losing out to Wahlquist. It was a close game and we should have won, but that is life.
It is always fun watching Hunter play, even when it's painful at the same time, lol. And a special thanks to Erik Bennett for all of the awesome pictures!
