~Macbeth~

Lexi's 2nd grade class put on Shakespeare's play of Macbeth.  I was so impressed that these cute little 2nd graders could memorize all the lines that they did, in Shakespeare's language none the less.  It was amazing.
Lexi played the part of Lady Macbeth.  She did such a great job!  The students entered the stage following a bagpipe player.  It was cool to hear the bagpipe sound feel the auditorium.  Mrs. Powell really did go all out for this.
Lexi loves having Mrs. Powell for her teacher.  She is so cute with these kids and you can see that she truly loves them.  It is really fun to have Lexi in her class because Mrs. Powell was my next door neighbor when I was growing up.

Garrett's class pet got to join us for the play.
I was so proud of Lexi and the hard work she put into this.  The kids memorized all of the parts at school and on their own.  She never really brought things home for me to help her with.  She played a perfect Lady Macbeth!!!
