~Lake Powell 2016~

We had a blast going to Lake Powell with some families in the neighborhood.  We had fun playing in the water, cliff jumping, surfing, paddle boarding, and playing games.  This will become a yearly tradition forsure!

We all had fun catching lizards right when we arrived.  The kids got pretty brave and were letting the lizards crawl all over their heads, lol.

We celebrated Dave and Kevin's birthday's while we were down there.  Happy Birthday you old farts!

We had the perfect spot just outside of Iceberg Canyon.  We were in our own little cove with a rocky beach the kids could play on, rocks for us to jump off of, and our own little cove to paddle board, swim, etc.  It was a lot of fun!
The kids were quite the little fishermen.  We were catching fish left and right.  They were using all of our leftover food to catch these fish, and they were huge fish!
We had double surfers on the same board, and they even got Skylar, Ashton, and Nate all surfing at the same time.  It was fun to watch the fun stunts from the teenagers.
Some of our fun night activities were a glow stick dance party, Kevin telling everyone a scary story about the Zazazi Indians (which included a scary water monster thanks to Bart), fireworks, night swims, and a fun fear factor/relay game.  We sure did party it up!
I think everyone crashed hard at the end of every night from having too much fun :)We absolutely LOVED spending the week with the Crittenden, Opheikens, Schenck, and Fullmer families.  Our family can't wait until next year!
