~Utah Summer Games- Track and Field Events~

Jerry is big into track and field.  In fact, he has flown all over the world competing in track and field events.  It is fun to see him compete and for the kids to compete in a few events as well. On day 1 of track and field, Lexi competed in a the 100 meter dash.  She did such a good job and ran her hardest.  So proud of her!

Mckell did the high jump.

Calvin decided that he wanted to try out some track and field events, so he signed up with Hunter.  Ryker wished he had signed up too.  His family stayed down in St George for the week, but Ryker decided he'd rather hang with his buddies than do family stuff, so he joined us.  (He may have been totally bored and hot, and I bet he was wishing he'd stayed with his family, lol)

Lexi medaled in the shot put.

Mckell got Gold in the Shot Put and Bronze in the High Jump.  Garrett was funny, he climbed up onto the podium and waited for them to give him his medal too, lol.  Mckell was a good sport and shared one of her medals with him.

Hunter got Gold in the High Jump, Silver in the Triple Jump, and Silver in the Shot Put.  Calvin took Gold in the Shot Put, Silver in the Long Jump, and Silver in the High Jump.

We ended our long days of track and field with nice cool dips in the pool.  It really was a fun eventful week.
