~Happy Birthday!~

This year for Dave's 38th Birthday, he spent it at Youth Conference, lol.

For Youth Conference, the theme was Amazing Race.  The youth were divided into teams and raced around the city.  They went to Ensign Peak, Temple Square, David O Mckays home, the Pleasant view parade, did service for people in our ward, dropped of care packages to the homeless, and spent an afternoon at Cowabunga Bay.

We had the youth make birthday cards, sing an original "Happy Birthday' song to Dave, and we even had cake and ice cream and had him blow out candles to celebrate his big day.

I'm sure this was not the way he'd planned to celebrate his birthday, but I hope he had fun.  Since we were at Youth Conference on his birthday, the following day, we took him to a movie as a family.  We went and saw Jurassic World.

Dave is the best husband and father!  He is always doing little things to make others happy.  We are so lucky to have him in our lives!  Love you babe!
