~Lagoon Fun~

We sure have made good use of our Lagoon passes this year.  We have tried to go at least 1 time a week throughout the summer.  We have switched it up by having Lagoon days with cousins and with friends.  It really has been a lot of fun.  Hunter, Mckell, and Lexi's favorite ride has been Cannibal.  Garrett's favorite ride is Red Rock Rally.
Garrett and I were ride buddies.  While the other kids were going on all the big rides, we stuck to the kids land.  (I still haven't gone on Cannibal, maybe next year)

Lagoon really is what fun is!!!

The kids really wanted to go bowling, so we decided to go bowling our friends Kailee and Kimberley Thompson.  It was a lot of fun!

~Journey to the Temple~

For a young women's activity we decided to bike the Ogdne river parkway, stopping at Kneaders for breakfast, then ending at the temple.  This was such a fun activity with the girls!!!  It is definitely one they will want to do again.
I let Mckell tag along with us on the activity.  She was in Heaven!!!
I LOVE my calling in the Young Womens!!!

~Ball Is Life Basketball camp and Disneyland~

Jerry and Darinda took Hunter to the Ball is Life basketball camp in California.  He always has a lot of fun going to these.
Since Jerry and Darinda went on their honeymoon to Disneyland, and it being their 40 year anniversary, they decided to splurge and do a night at the park, with Hunter tagging along, hahaha.  They paid to get a tour guide who took them around to all the rides showing them cool things about the park.  They were able to go to the front of every line.  Hunter said he rode more rides in these few hours than he did in several days coming to the park.  He said it was a blast!!!  They went to the Blue Bayou for dinner and Hunter tried a bunch of new kinds of food.  Shocker!!! He is usually so picky.  I think he had a lot of fun tagging along with his grandma and grandpa on their anniversary date.
Hunter said we need to go back as a family so he can tell and show us all the cool things he discovered on this tour.  I'm totally in for that!!! I LOVE Disneyland!

~Bear Lake~

Dave's aunt and uncle, Larry and Dawn, invited us to come spend the day with their family up at Bear Lake.  The weather was a little sketchy, which made me super nervous being Bear Lake and all, but Larry insisted it was fine.  We were able to go and play for a few hours which was fun.
Mckell and Kevin had fun doing "The Whip" while surfing behind the boat.  They've got skills!

~ Biking Merit Bagde~

Hunter really has the BEST scout leaders!  They are always so good at making sure the boys have opportunities to pass off fun merit badges.  They have been working on the biking merit badge for quite some time now.  They've gone on several bike rides, learned bike maintenance, gone on biking overnighters, and had a lot of fun.  For their last ride of this merit badge, the boys went up to ride around the hills of Park City.
I need to add that these hikes are not easy hikes.  Randy Bird, one of the leaders, crashes pretty hard coming down the steep part of the mountain.  Ouch!!!

~Little Bare Bottoms Waterslide~

Our youth went to Little Bare Bottoms Waterslide in Wellsville for our summer activity.  It was a lot of fun!!!  I was able to drag my cute kiddos along.  They were in heaven!!!
The slides were really, really steep.  Cute little Izzy Bird (who came along with her parents) flew off the slide coming down and ended up rolling down the dirt on the side of the slide. :(  She had road rash from head to toe, poor girl.  But she was tough!
Our cute youth group, plus a few.  This was such a fun activity!!! I was sad that Hunter missed it (he was at a basketball tournament).  The slides were really steep and went really fast!  Even Dave and I tried them out a few times, lol.  I love my calling in the youth!
