The kids LOVED night swimming. It's so fun with all of the cool lights.
I asked Darinda if she knew of any fun, easy hikes that I could take all the kids on that we hadn't done before. She took us to the crack and to Dixie rock which was a lot of fun. It was crazy to think that people actually walk through the crack. It literally it like a foot and a half opening and to walk up a mountain in that tight space is kind of terrifying, but Lexi, Jackie, Becca and I did it!!! Whoo-hoo for us!!!
Lexi and Jackie standing next to the crack. Yes we walked through that little crack. Crazy huh!
We also went and visited an old pioneer house build inside the mountain.
Then we made our way to the top of Dixie Rock.
Garrett LOVED hiking around on all of the red rock. He didn't want to stop, he was having so much fun. Too bad the older girls out numbered him and were ready to get out of the heat.
Then headed back to the pool to play and cool off.
We even took Buddy with us down to St George. I was a little nervous how he would do but he did great, and Garrett kept saying that Buddy was who Garrett got to bring down to St George since the girls both got to bring friends.
Later that night the older girls went to do baptisms for the dead at the St George temple while the rest of us went and played at Thunder Junction, the absolute funnest park I've ever been to.
Garrett was too funny. He ran around the park acting like he was one of the dinosaurs, lol. I love his imagination!
We never did make it to one of Hunter's games, we were too busy playing, lol. Although Jerry and Darinda went and watched him, so I guess we were represented.
Garrett had so much fun driving the little kayak around the pool.
And Lexi had fun showing off her surfing skills that she developed in Hawaii.
And they all mastered jumping off of the log.
We are so lucky we have a place this fun were we can run away too. And we are lucky Jerry and Darinda are always so hospitable and let us come down and bring friends. We all had a really good time.
And Hunter's JV Warriors team won the tournament in their age group. Way to Go Weber!!!
