~Spring Break~

The kids had a whole week off for spring break this year , so we decided to head south and enjoy the sunny weather.  It is so great to have a place that we can always go when we want to get away.  We invited the Fullmer family to join us.  We had a lot of fun!
Dave was looking most forward to riding his Razor, so we spent the first day at Sand Hollow.  We  had fun riding the Razor and four wheelers, playing at the lake, and paddle boarding and riding the kayak.  We soaked up a lot of sun, and it felt great!
Lexi didn't let her cast get in the way of her having fun in the water :)

Lexi had fun playing in the water.  She was soaking wet and completely covered in sand.
This is how Hunter rode the 4 wheelers for the day.  He said he was hot, and didn't want to wear his shirt, lol.

The next day we planned to stay at Jerry and Darinda's and play in the pool.  It was a fun, relaxing day.
The next day was a super busy day.  We planned to head into Vegas to hit the outlet malls.  We spent the morning shopping, then headed to Cowabunga Bay to play on the water slides.  Our good friends, the Opheikens, own Cowabunga Bay and got us tickets to go check it out.  It was a lot of fun!
Dave and the kids had a race on one of the slides.  You line up, and when they say go you all see who can make it down the slide first.  Dave won!
It was kind of funny, that we head to Vegas and see like 4 families from North Ogden at Cowabunga Bay.  It really is a small world!
Mckell and Ashton.  Cute girls!
After playing at the waterpark for a few hours, we got dressed and headed into Vegas to walk the strip and for the boys to ride the Big Shot.

Mckell wasn't really sure what to think of Vegas.  She loved the lights, but we saw A LOT of strange people.
The last day down in St George, Garrett discovered Darinda's costume closet.  He LOVED the Star Wars costumes!  And Darinda can't say no to him,  she let him bring the storm trooper mask home with him.  He wore it the entire way back to North Ogden.
It was such a fun get a way.  Just what we all needed!
