~The Elk Hunt~

Hunter had a blast this year on the elk hunt.  He and Dave were very successful.  They got both a spike and a cow elk.. I do not know what we are going to do with all that meat, lol.

About 9:30 opening morning and they had already gotten this spike.

Along the way, they hunted grouse.  Hunter is cleaning one in this picture.

The next morning they shot this cow.

Hunter was exhausted from getting up everyday at 4:30 to head up the mountain, then hike around for hours.  He doesn't look very comfortable if you ask me :)  They had a lot of fun, and Hunter is counting down the days until the deer hunt :)  That makes Dave's day!
