~Winter Dance Recital~

The girls have been so excited for their dance recital.  They couldn't wait to get all dressed up, to show us their dances, and to get the flowers afterward :).  They both did an awesome job!
Lexi did her dance to the song "Hawaiian Rollercoaster" from Lilo and Stitch.  She did such a cute hula.
Mckell is in competition dance this year, and is loving it.  She did her dance to the song "Thank you for the Music".  She also did an amazing job!

I absolutely LOVE these 2 beautiful girls!!! They are so much fun!

~"Best Day of My Life"~

This year for Hunter's friend birthday he knew exactly what he wanted to do.  He wanted to have pizza, play the candy bar game, the quarter game, and basketball.  I kept trying to talk him into going to Get Air, Classic Skating, or Fat Cats, but he wouldn't budge.  He knew what he wanted to do, and that was that.  I'm glad we did what he wanted because at the end of the night he said "This has been the best night of my life" lol.  Oh to be young again!
Playing the candy bar game.
Hunter had all his best buds there.

We tried playing the quarter game, but it was taking forever, so we decided to cut it short and head over to the church for some basketball.  The boys were all over that.
The boys shot for teams, then scrimmaged.  Shirts vs. Skins.  Mckell and Lexi thought this was totally gross :)

While waiting for their turn to get into the game, some of the boys decided to be cheerleaders, lol.
One of the teams showing their muscles.
Another team showing a jump shot.
Garrett wanted so bad to be down playing with the boys.

It was a fun night, at least I know Hunter had fun, and that is all that really matters, right.  I'm glad he had a GREAT birthday!

~New Years Day Party~

We thought we'd kill 2 birds with one stone.  We had the Wangsgard side of the family over for New Years Day party as well as a birthday party for Hunter.  We had fun playing the candy bar game (again) and the quarter game (again). My kids thought it was great that they got to play these games 2 days in a row, lol.  It was really fun having Richard and Cassie over.  We are going to be sad when they leave back home to Kentucky.
Hunter playing on his birthday gift from Grandma and Grandpa Wangsgard.  It is a trick bike.  Mckell is funny because Hunter will not let her ride it, so whenever he leaves to go to a friends, that is the first thing she goes to :)  We just will not let Hunter know that.

~2013~

2013 was a good year for our little family.  We continued to get settled into our new home, which I can't believe it has already been a year since we'd moved in.  Time sure goes by fast!
We went on some fun trips this year as a family.  We went to Hawaii and to Bear Lake.  Then just Dave and I went to New York and to Paris.  They were vacations to me, but to Dave they were just work trips.
Dave was made bishop this year, at the age of 36.  We still are in awe that he is the bishop.  He keeps busy with that and work.  And he and Jerry are still coaching Hunter's basketball team.  Which I know Hunter is grateful for because he LOVES basketball.
Mckell made a competitive dance team, and is so excited to start competitions in the next couple of months.  She also began taking piano lessons this year and most importantly, she was baptized.
I've learned that I am extremely allergic to the glue they use to put on false eyelashes.  I swelled up like Rocky the 2nd time I had them filled.  It took a week for my eyes to go back down.
The morning after I got my lashes filled.
After I had them removed.  I think I may have also been allergic to the stuff used to take them off.  My eyes just kept getting bigger and bigger.
Garrett has had a lot happen over the past year.  From crawling, to walking, to talking, to going into the nursery.  It has been a big year for him with many firsts.
Lexi loves school, dance, and playing with her friends.  She is such a little social bug, and makes friends wherever she goes.  She is such a big helper to me.  Garrett loves playing with her and follows her around the house all day.  He gets so upset that he can't go to preschool with her.
This year has been very eventful with both good and bad things, but I am so blessed to have my family to go through them with.  I can't imagine life without them.  We are so blessed!

Happy New Year!  We are excited to see what 2014 brings.
